GalvanizatumchalybsLamina refertur ad laminam ferream strato zinci in superficie obductam. Galvanizatio est methodus oeconomica et efficax rubiginem prohibendi quae saepe adhibetur, et circiter dimidia pars productionis zinci mundi in hoc processu adhibetur.
Effectus
Lamina ferrea galvanizata (vel "galvanizata") ad superficiem laminae ferreae a corrosione prohibendam et ad eius vitam utilem prolongandam destinatur. Stratum zinci metallici superficiei laminae ferreae obducitur. Haec lamina ferrea galvanizata lamina galvanizata appellatur.

Generaliter, quo crassior lamina galvanizata, eo maior error licitas est, potius quam fixus 0.02-0.04 mm. Deviatio crassitudinis etiam requisita diversa habet secundum limitem elasticitatis, coefficientem tensile, etc. Deviatio longitudinis et latitudinis plerumque 5 mm est, crassitudo laminae plerumque inter 0.4 et 3.2 mm.
Sarcina
In duo genera dividuntur: laminae galvanizatae ad longitudinem sectae et laminae galvanizatae in cylindris inclusae. Generaliter in lamina ferrea involvitur, charta humiditati resistente obducta, et ad fulcrum cum zona ferrea extrinsecus vincta. Vinculum firmum esse debet ne laminae galvanizatae internae inter se fricent.
